301 Faith Partners Joint Ecological Team (JET)

JET provides education in best practices to support the environment, and initiates projects that aid in climate care and restoration of balanced ecosystems. Judy Matthews heads this ministry.

Education Justice:

Locally Haiti

Locally Haiti is a Colorado-based nonprofit supporting our partner community of over 30 years, Petit Trou de Nippes. We provide funding for farming, schooling, community health and girls’ empowerment. Geneve Huxley is the head of this ministry for St. Paul’s.

Food Insecurity

Food Bank of Larimer County

A team of St. Paul’s parishioners helps out at the Food Bank each month, stocking and preparing food.  The head of this ministry for St. Paul’s is Becky Sheller.

Housing Justice

Faith Family hospitality

Faith, Family, Hospitality is a collaboration between St. Paul’s and Christ United Methodist Church to house and feed families who are experiencing homelessness. We serve for two weeks twice a year. Christ United provides the housing space and we supply food and hosts for evening times and overnights. Rhoda Robinson heads up this ministry.

Habitat for humanity

We support Habitat for Humanity through participating in build days, providing food for build days, and through fundraising efforts. Members of St. Paul’s also help out at the Re-Store, Habitat’s second hand store in Ft. Collins.  Reach out to Gray Currier for more information.

Lumin Housing Initiative

Lutheran Campus Ministries, LuMin, provides housing and support for students who are food- and housing-insecure. St. Paul’s participates with other congregations in an effort to provide meals for these students once a week so that they can enjoy fellowship with one another and with us. Weltha McGraw is the point person for this ministry:

301 faith Partners Immigration Task force

As members of ISAAC, the Interfaith Solidarity and Accompaniment Coalition, the 301 Faith Partners accompany and advocate for immigrants and migrants in Northern Colorado. July Matthews is the St. Paul’s contact person.

301 Faith Partners Advocacy Group

This group brings awareness to the Partner congregations of issues in the community that need our action or support. Judy Matthews is the ministry head. Joan Stephenson also often brings issues to the attention of the St. Paul’s community.
