We are pleased to announce that the Rev. Felicia SmithGraybeal will be joining us as Priest in Charge at St. Paul’s, beginning on August 6. Her first worship service will be on August 11 at 8:30 am. Felicia says about her vocational life: “I am approaching my 17th year of ordained ministry. I began ministry as the Associate Rector of St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Boulder, Colorado. After 5 years there, St. Mary Magdalene entered a period of discernment about how to address the growth we were experiencing. The end result was the decision to start a new congregation, and I, along with 14 other “launch team families” from both St. Mary Magdalene and St. Stephen’s, Longmont, worked to begin St. Brigit Episcopal Church in Frederick, Colorado. In February of this year we celebrated our 10th Anniversary as a vibrant worshiping community.”
Until Felicia comes onboard on August 6, there are clergy on call for the pastoral needs of the congregation, and a vibrant lay team of people who deeply care about the needs and concerns of parishioners, especially the home-bound or ill. Visits with companions, Lay Eucharistic Visitors, or clergy pastors can be arranged through Weltha McGraw, Parish Administrator, Laurie Gudim, Communications Liaison, or Rhoda Robinson, Senior Warden. The St. Paul’s office number is 970-482-2668.
