Fellowship Hall at Trinity
Hosted by the St. Paul’s Chapter of the Daughters of the King
St. Paul’s Daughters of the King (DOK) invite the women of St. Paul’s, Trinity, Mary of Magdala Ecumenical Catholic Community and friends to a special tea during which we will explore the power of prayer and learn more about the Daughters of the King. It will also give us all the opportunity to get to know one another as we continue to strengthen the joint community established at Trinity.
A scrumptious British High Tea prepared by the Daughters will be served by St. Paul's Youth Group. Rev. Lyn, long- time member of the DOK, and Mary Jean Currier, who heads up the St. Paul’s chapter, will engage in an interactive discussion with everyone on prayer. In addition, we will have a guest speaker who will give a brief presentation on the Daughters of the King.
Daughters of the King, which has been in existence for over 130 years, is an international religious order of lay and ordained church women with chapters in the Episcopal /Anglican Church, Ecumenical Catholic Church, Roman Catholic Church, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
